On the Internet, Traffic = Money

There are countless ways to monetize traffic, such as placing ads, selling t-shirts, or placing links to websites that offer affiliate marketing programs.

Creating substantial traffic can be tough though. You can advertise, which costs money, or you can try to create excellent content to pull traffic through referrals and social networks. Neither of these solutions is ideal. Spending money is risky if you aren’t sure that your traffic is going to be profitable, and creating content takes time.

For a small group of lucky people, there is a loophole. These select few are born with an asset so powerful that it can create massive amounts of instant traffic that will keep coming back for more.

These lucky people are attractive females, and luckily for entrepreneurial men like myself, I can hire them to work their magic and push traffic for my web business. The saying “sex sells” has taken on a whole new meaning since the introduction of rich streaming media on the web. First, let’s meet a successful Blogger/Internet celebrity that blatantly advertises her hotness as a way of driving traffic.

I happen to enjoy coffee, photography, sandwiches and sleeping, and I even happen to be pretty good looking, but I am 100% positive that I could never make money by broadcasting my life on the Internet while getting paid to endorse cosmetics companies.

Easy Advertising

On May 25th 2008, an employee that works at Tinsley Advertising “just made a personal video” called “Why every guy should buy their girlfriend Wii Fit.” Regardless of whether this video (which looks a whole lot like an advertisement to me) was uploaded with the intention of exploding virally across the Internet, it did. As of this writing, 9 days since the video was uploaded, it has accumulated 1,363,067 views. I am positive that this number would have been much smaller if the now famous Hula Hooper wasn’t blessed with a shapely bottom.

If this isn’t a reason to start promoting your business using hot girls on the Internet, I don’t know what is.

Ok, let’s actually break down the recipe for using female hotness to create business success.

First, like I have been saying for duration of this article, take an attractive female. Actress and model Amber Lee Ettinger should do just fine.

Second, take a popular social issue that is dominating the news. For this example, let’s use the 2008 Presidential Election.

Now, write a catchy song and put everything together.

Millions of views and one Endlessly Entertaining Dancing Candidate Flash Game later, you have what I imagine is a very successful t-shirt store. Who knew doing business online could be so simple?
